V200DQ01 is a Fuselage version of the V200D02 helicopter, they share the same the mechanical parts inside. About the V200D02 model, it is a Fixed Pitch indoor helicopter for beginners. Fixed Pitch Helicopter is better for beginners because of easier setup and less complicated parts than the Collective Pitch Helis, and it has gone one step further, it has no Flybar, and added a 3-Axis gyro to help you to stabilize the helicopter, just like adding a Co-Pilot next to you. Different from it's sister model V200D01, V200DQ01 is using normal Brushed Motor and a Tail Motor Driven Tail Rotor to lower the manufacturing cost, this make the mechanical parts very easy to repair after crash, good news for beginners, but for the fuselage, beginners may break it easily and you need time to replace the fuselage. For the ground breaking Flybarless Technology, you may ask "Why Flybarless is good?". Please allow me to explain.

What is a "Flybar"?

Flybar is a short thin metal rod placed on top of the helicopter, it is one of the Rotor Head's structure, usually attached with a paddle on both end. Another name for "Flybar" is "Stabilizer", it helps to stabilize the helicopter during a flight, the heavier the paddle and longer the flybar, the more stable the helicopter can be. In another word, if you take away the flybar, the helicopter will become "Unstable". However, this can be compensate by using high tech 3-Axis Gyro. The onboard RX2440V Super Controller makes the V200D02 flies so well that it performs just like a ordinary rotor head helicopter.

Why make it "Flybarless"?

Flybarless means ""Less Moving Parts", that save energy and able to let you fly 20-30% longer time. Also, less parts mean less repairing, you will have much less parts to replace after a crash. We could say Flybarless is the future of RC Helicopters.

Difference between V200D01, V200DQ01 and V200D02?

V200DQ01 is the fuselage version of the V200D02, so you can assume they are the same thing. V200D01 and V200D02 are sister models. V200D01 has a high power Brushless Motor and a Shaft Driven Tail Rotor, plus a Rudder Servo to adjust tail blade pitch, this is most RC Helicopters do, performance is good, but a bit harder to setup and repair after a crash. V200D02 is the lower price entry model, it uses a normal Brushed Motor and a Motor Driven Tail Rotor, this combination lower the price dramatically, but also keeping 90% of the performance. Let put it this way, V200D01 is Deluxe Version, V200D02 is Basic Version.
